Design for Change
The powerful collective energy of the Women, Life, Freedom Movement sparked by Mahsa Amini‘s tragic death, deeply inspired me to create a type design that reflects both resilience and hope.
This movement symbolizes a journey to freedom with each person acting as a beacon, lighting the way forward. In the design, women stand at the frontier, leading the path toward freedom and equality.
I expressed this by featuring the three words—woman, life, freedom—in Persian using isometric architectural forms.
Each letter is a building block, representing the strength and interconnectedness of these values. I incorporated rainbow colors into the design—a tribute to LGBTQ+ rights and the broader fight for dignity and equality for all.
